Who is responsible

This website is operated by Chukwuemeka Kalu, a growth marketer and strategist based in Lagos, Nigeria. For questions or requests about your personal information, email iamemekalu@gmail.com.

Information you choose to share

If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. I use that information to respond, discuss a professional opportunity, and keep an appropriate record of our conversation.

The Book a Call links open Cal.com. Information you submit there is processed through that service to arrange and manage the meeting. Please read Cal.com’s privacy notice before submitting booking details. There is no embedded booking form on this website.

Information used to operate the website

The website’s hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and the time of a visit. This supports delivery, maintenance, troubleshooting, and protection of the website.

This version of the site does not use advertising pixels or optional visitor analytics. WordPress may use necessary cookies for functions such as administrator sign-in. The Cookie Settings page explains the current setup and how to manage cookies in your browser.

Service providers and external links

Website hosting, email, and scheduling providers process information where needed to deliver their services. Fonts on some Elementor pages may be loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver those font files.

LinkedIn, X, Cal.com, and any linked publications operate their own websites and privacy practices. Following a link takes you to that service; this site does not embed their social feeds. Your personal information is not sold through this portfolio.

Purpose and legal basis

Information is used to operate and protect this professional website, respond to requests, and explore work opportunities. Depending on the interaction and applicable law, processing may rely on legitimate interests in those activities, steps you request before an agreement, a legal obligation, or consent where required.

If optional tracking is introduced in the future, this notice and the cookie controls will be updated before it is enabled.

Retention and international services

Correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, a resulting professional relationship, and any applicable record-keeping obligation. Technical records are retained according to the relevant hosting or service provider’s settings and requirements.

Some service providers may process information outside Nigeria. The safeguards and policies of those providers apply to their processing. You can contact me for information about a particular interaction or request deletion where appropriate.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email iamemekalu@gmail.com with your request. Reasonable identity checks may be needed to protect your information.

You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng, or the relevant data protection authority where you live.
