SELECTED WORK / HYPE PARTNERS
From 500 followers to 10,247—and a clearer route from attention to new clients.
In a crowded Web3 conversation, another stream of generic commentary would be easy to ignore. The opportunity was to make an agency founder’s expertise clear, useful, and recognisable.

01 / CHALLENGE
A crowded conversation
Hype Partners is a Web3 marketing agency. The founder’s personal brand had the potential to reach the founders and teams the agency wanted to work with, but it needed a distinct and useful position.
Generic crypto commentary was already abundant. The growth challenge was to build an audience around expertise that could earn credibility and lead to relevant business enquiries.
02 / STRATEGY
Make practical knowledge the reason to follow
The positioning centred on explaining Web3 marketing clearly and practically. Competitor and audience research helped identify the questions and conversations that mattered to prospective clients.
Rather than treating content as a publishing quota, the approach connected educational material, thought leadership, and useful participation in the industry. The aim was to make the founder’s point of view recognisable over time.
03 / EXECUTION
Build the audience in the conversation
Execution included educational content, engagement with relevant industry accounts, community discussions, and X Spaces. Content formats, hooks, and publishing approaches were tested and refined.
This was founder-led organic growth: the professional expertise of the founder, supported by a deliberate content and community approach. No paid follower-acquisition campaign was reported in the project materials.
04 / OUTCOME
Follow the commercial thread
The founder’s audience reportedly grew from approximately 500 to 10,247 followers over around 16 months. The supplied materials also report eight new clients through content and community-led acquisition.
The commercial point is not the follower count in isolation. It is how useful expertise can build trust, attract relevant prospects, and support conversations that lead to client work.
05 / EVIDENCE & ATTRIBUTION
Evidence and attribution
These figures are reported in my CV and project narrative. A founder-profile link and follower-growth screenshot have been identified as potential supporting material, but have not been supplied for this version of the case study.
The figures should not be read as independent proof that a single content intervention caused every new client. Organic acquisition also involves the cost of time, content production, and tools, even when no follower-acquisition advertising is used.
06 / REFLECTION
The useful outcome is trust
Audience growth becomes more meaningful when the audience is relevant to the business. Clear positioning and useful content can help someone move from recognising a name to understanding why that person’s expertise matters.
This project connects the work of earning attention with the work of building a business relationship. Both need to be visible in the growth story.
